Beyond Famous Labels (BFL) is a tech supported online retail outlet founded in Mumbai, India in 2017 by Michelle D’souza and supported by Young.

For long, the world of design has been a label-playing field. Some are big names, some aren’t. For those who’ve been working hard but haven’t come across the opportunity they deserve, BFL is a brand that serves as a platform for designers to showcase their talent and design expertise to a world of consumers who are seeking something fresh, something exciting, and something beyond fashion labels.

ANUP KOTEKAR
If you ever spot a brand that is trying to stand out amidst the clutter and failing, it’s safe to assume they don’t have an Anup steering them on. A media maven with a wealth of experience in the marketing and management of media, Anup has brought effective solutions to brands like the Times Of India, The WPP Group: where he served as the national sales head, and Future Media: where he was a part of the core team that set up India’s first retail media company. At Beyond Famous Labels (BFL), Anup will ensure that the brand speaks the right language and stays consistent on its promise to all of its stakeholders.
MICHELLE D’SOUZA
As a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Michelle worked in enterprise risk management, internal audit, business research and financial modelling at Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services Limited (IL&FS), India. Passionate about fashion, she decided to arm herself with a course in trend forecasting from Central Saint Martins (London), currently ranked the no.1 college in the world for fashion. Beyond Famous Labels (BFL) is an idea conceived by Michelle, where she combines her experience in finance with her passion for fashion.
WILFRED FERNANDES
With a reputation for cutting through marketing clutter with fresh perspective, Wilfred is proof that innovation at Young starts at the top. As the founder at Young, Wilfred keeps the momentum going with new initiatives. Besides overseeing the performance of all Young’s verticals and driving new business development, he keeps ideating to set up successful collaborations like Beyond Famous Labels. Prior to Young, Wilfred was with Bennett Coleman & Company Limited and Ekta World where he has left his mark, he hopes that Young and Beyond Famous Labels (BFL) will be his legacy.
